This concise description of the continuity between the Vedic use of Soma (Indu) and the American Indian usage of Peyote (mescaline), Magic Mushroom (psilocibin), Morning Glory (lysergic acid), the use of ayahuasca (DMT) by O Centro Espirita Beneficiente Uniao do Vegetal (UDV), the use of marijuana (cannabis) and LSD (D-lysergic acid diethylamide) as the sacraments of the League for Spiritual Discovery, founded in 1966 by Dr. Timothy F. Leary, establishes the validity of induced ecstatic experience as a means for God-consciousness, and the legitimacy of religions based upon these concepts in terms of protection under the Bill of Rights of the Constitution of the United States of America.

Our democracy was defined by the core beliefs expressed in the U.S. Constitution which are being suppressed by right wing fundamentalists who currently control the media and government and actively promote their religious views and political agenda at the expense of the rest of us.
Isn't it time we demanded that contemporary politicians uphold these cherished principles? Will the Democratic Congress turn this ingrained situation around and reverse the 1984 Big Brother monster that the Nixon-Reagan Republicans have loosed upon America?

The "missing years of Christ" were actually the time of his spiritual journey where He mastered Buddhism, Hinduism and all of the religions of the world. The Truths He learned were returned to Jerusalum and spread to the masses with the aid of John's baptisms. The identity of His teachings and the teachings of the Buddha are self-evident. Unfortunately, the sanctity of all life (all species) and the unity of ALL religions under the same God (universal life force) did not filter through the Roman interpretation of His Message and all of God's Will was not enacted. This, and rectification of the unequal distribution of world resources, is the reason return was required. The Rapture of the 1960's prepared the Way.
